Half-Way to July 1st!
We've quickly arrived at the 1/2 way mark - we can't believe it's been 20 weeks already! Friday afternoon was the "big ultrasound". This was the anatomy scan ultrasound where all the "baby parts" were measured and examined to confirm on-track growth and development. We're happy to report that all looked great! It was so much fun to see Baby H moving around in there! The Ultrasound tech was having a hard time getting Baby H to sit still long enough for her to get measurements - she referred to the baby as "stubborn" - I said "Yup, that's Dave's child"!! LOL :-)
In addition to all the measurements, we were also able to see some fun stuff - a yawn and an episode of Baby H sticking out his/her tongue at us! My mom joined Dave and I for this ultrasound and we're pretty sure she enjoyed seeing her grandchild for the first time too!
We resisted the urge to find out if we have a girl Baby H or a boy Baby H on the way. HOWEVER, at one point during the ultrasound (after the tech had already determined gender), she did refer to the baby as a "she". Did she give it away?!? We think so, but I guess we won't know for a few more months!
